Private
Q : I receive email from someone outside of my country that wants my bank and personal details,should i mail them?
A : NO! please do not email your details,not even when you have received a payment by fake check or money transfer
Keep in mind to buy or sell face to face, inspect the boat, have a survey done etc, no one in his right mind will pay
a large amount of money for something that is not inspected or seen by the possible buyer.
Our advice is : ignore the emails, do not reply ,it will you save you allot of trouble.
Q : How long will it take for my private account to be activated and advert to be seen:
A : When registering for a private account you will be able to enter your ad directly, The advert will go live within 24h,prior to approval.
Q : I can’t find the make or boat type I am selling, what can I do?
A : Email the make or type you want to add to us, using the contact form,located on the top -right corner of the website, the update should be online within 24h and you will be notified by email when active.
Q : Will I get SPAM emails if I put my email address in my profile?
A : You will receive no SPAM mails as we have a secured server and safety system in place. At rare occasions a Spam mail will come trough.
Spammers work day and night to find new programs and way's around it, sadly enough we can't stop it
Just ignore it and inform us so we can tackle the problem and block them from boatshop.ie
Q : How many pictures can I put online free of charge?
A : You can put 2 pictures online per advert , no composite pictures please.
Q: How long will my advert stay online free of charge?
A: Your advert will be live for 60 day’s, when expired, you can renew for another 60 days without any charge, you will receive an email 3 days before the advert will expire.
Q: How can I pay for my account?
A: After choosing for the paying option , you will be linked from boatshop.ie to the paypal page, here you can pay with Visa or Master Card.
For the other payment options, please contact our office by email ,using the contact form,located on the top -right corner of the website
Q: Do I need to have a Paypal Account in order to pay?
A: No, you don’t need a account, if you are on the paypal page that is linked from Boatshop.ie ,it will link you to a form to fill in for payment.
All payments are directly into the Boatshop.ie account, so as soon as it is checked by our staff, the account will go live and you will be informed per email
Q: When submitting my boat, the value comes up as 10 euro, while i entered 10,000 euro, how can i fix this?
A: When submitting the advert , you have to fill in the amount as 10000 , so no point or comma in between as our software splits it up automatically
Q: When viewing the website, it looks scrambled, what is happening?
A: You probably are viewing the website with Firefox or another browser, Our webpage works fine on MS Internet Explorer
Q: i would like to put my boat up as a "Featured advert ", how can I do this?
A: When submitting a new ad, you will see on the bottom of the list a box you can tick for "featured advert ",when payment is received, the ad will be online for 2 weeks, on our FrontPage, giving it the maximum exposure you need

Trade Accounts
Q: How soon will my trade account be active?
A: When you register, one of our staff members will contact you by email with our price options. When payment is received, the account will be live and all advert will be activated directly

A: After choosing your contract, you will receive an email with a direct link in to our paypal account, here you can pay wit Master or Visa Card. For the other options, please contact our office by email

Q: I would like to advertise on Boatshop.ie with a Top/Side banner, where can I sign up?
A: Email your details and photographs or logo's to be used (max.2) to our office,using the contact form,located on the top -right corner of the website and one of our crew members will email out a request for payment. As soon as the payment is cleared, the side or top banner will go live.
Q: I wilI be opening a new shop soon, how can i register this event on the " latest news" page?
A: Email your event to us, using the contact form,located on the top -right corner of the website and one of our crew members will add it online and inform you of this, there is no charge connected as long as the event is approved by one of our staff.
We can enter a New launch of a Shop, Product or Agency for anyone worldwide, on this page, ones emailed we will update the latest news soon.
We do not take promo's or discount sales on the news page as this has to go under your account, with an ad.
